EXAM REQUEST

 Exam Information

There are two options available for candidates to sit for their certification exams: paper-based exams offered by a chapter or affiliated organization, or computer-based exams administered at a Pearson VUE testing facility.

There is no deadline date for computer-based exams; however for paper-based exams, you must be enrolled and paid for no later than 12 business days prior to the scheduled exam date. Please check the ISA office closing schedule to ensure you are enrolled on time.

Interested in hosting an exam?

Please complete the ISA EXAM FORM and submit to Courtney at staff@mwisaceus.org for all Midwestern Chapter- ISA exam request.

Computer-based Exam

Computer-based exams allow the convenience of working around potential conflicts in your schedule and may help you avoid having to drive long distances to paper-based exam sites. If you choose to test at a Pearson VUE testing facility, you determine your own test date and location. Computer-based exams require an additional administrative fee, but you receive your results immediately after you complete the exam, as opposed to waiting up to 6 weeks for your results from a paper-based exam.

If you choose to test at a Pearson VUE testing facility, you determine your own test date and location. You must first submit your application to ISA and receive approval before contacting Pearson VUE to schedule your exam at one of their testing centers.

Paper-based Exam

A paper-based exam offered by a Chapter or an Affiliated Organization is delivered at a pre-scheduled date and location determined by the local ISA Certification Liaison. This exam is administered via paper and pencil.

If you plan to take a paper-based exam, you must choose a date and location that is offered by a Chapter or Affiliated Organization. Please view the calendar for a list of exam dates and locations scheduled over the coming months. After choosing a location, you must submit a completed application prior to being approved for enrollment.
